Posten Bring Tracking | Norway Post Track and Trace
About Posten Bring
Posten Bring (formerly Posten Norge) is the national postal service of Norway, owned by the Norwegian Ministry of Transport and Communications. Established in 1647 as Postvesenet, it became a state monopoly in 1719. The company had exclusive rights to distribute letters under 50 grams until 2016.
In the 20th century, Posten underwent several name changes, becoming Postverket in 1933 and Posten Norge BA in 1996. It transitioned to a stock company in 2002, preparing for market deregulation. The company expanded internationally by acquiring CityMail in Sweden and has stakes in logistics firms like Nor-Cargo and Frigoscandia.
